Q - Can a customer put more money down than just the initial deposit on a Lease Purchase contract?
A - No, the customer can only give the dealer deposit upfront. On a Finance contract, the customer can put as much down as they would like to drop the balance.

Q - What if the customer is looking at a building over the $20,000 limit on a Lease Purchase, can they pay extra down to get it under that amount?
A - No, the customer can only pay the dealer deposit upfront. On a Finance contract, the customer can put as much as they would like to down to drop the balance.

Q - Does the $20,000 limit on Lease Purchase apply before or after the customer's deposit?
A - Before. The building must retail for no more than $20,000.
